Welcome to Ayothaya – The Hidden Village on the Water

If you’ve been wandering Rune-Midgard and feel like you’ve seen it all, wait until you discover Ayothaya.
This is not just another city – it’s a quiet floating village, surrounded by deep forests, rivers, and wooden houses built on stilts. People here live in harmony with nature, and the whole town feels peaceful… well, at least on the surface.

Behind the calm, Ayothaya hides a mystery. Locals whisper about ancient ruins nearby, and a terrifying tiger spirit that feasts on travelers. Some call it superstition, but every adventurer knows—where there are rumors, there are dungeons.

🚢 How to Reach Ayothaya

Getting to Ayothaya feels like taking a secret boat trip. Here’s how you can go step by step:

Start in Alberta
Head to Alberta’s harbor. Look for NPC “Aibakthing”
Pay the Fare
He’ll offer you a ride to Ayothaya for 10,000 Zeny.
Enjoy the Ride
After a short trip, you’ll land in Ayothaya town. Welcome! Take your time exploring the floating markets, wooden bridges, and shrine-like houses.

🚪Unlock the Dungeon (Important!)

The real adventure begins once you do the Ayothaya Dungeon Entrance Quest.

Talk to Dusit in town, who will send you to Boonthon.
Shaman asks for a few items (Needle Packet, Spool, Solid Husk and Holy Water).
Bring them back, and she’ll give you Holy Threads. With this, you can step into the mysterious shrine
But before enter go to Ayothaya Field 1 and with Puraim before exlore the dungeon
We have now arrived at Ayothaya Field 2. To enter the dungeon, simply use the warp on the right side of the map.

Ayothaya Dungeon 2 Quest

Upon entering Dungeon Floor 1, follow the points on the map below and talk to the NPCs in order.
After speaking to all six points, return to Boonthon.

She will tell you that She can provide a more powerful talisman, but first, you need to bring him the following items:
- Holy Water ×2
- Yggdrasil Leaf ×1
- Needle Packet ×2
- Spool ×2
Once you have obtained the Sacred Thread, head to the top-left corner of Dungeon Floor 1. Talk to the door to immediately enter Dungeon Floor 2.

New Map&Monsters Update – Ayothaya

Think of Louyang like three layers:

Town (louyang) – The main hub with shops, quests, and locals telling stories of the tomb.
Fields (lou_fild01) – The outskirts where you’ll meet plants, insects, and wandering spirits. A great warm-up area.
Dungeon: The Royal Tomb (lou_dun01 → lou_dun03) – The deeper you go, the darker and more dangerous it gets. At the bottom waits Bacsojin, the MVP boss.

If you’ve grown tired of Payon’s forests or Geffen’s wizardry, there’s a faraway land calling your name: Louyang.
This isn’t just a town—it’s a whole new culture, filled with martial arts, pagodas, and legends of dragons. People here live with discipline, honor, and tradition. Every street corner whispers of warriors past and spirits still lurking in the shadows.

But don’t let the calm roofs and lanterns fool you. Beneath Louyang’s proud walls lies the Royal Tomb, where restless souls stir and an ancient spirit—the White Lady Bacsojin—waits for challengers brave enough to disturb her peace.

🚢 How to Get to Louyang

The trip itself feels like an adventure:

Head to Alberta Harbor
Down by the docks, talk to NPC Girl. She offers a passage to Louyang.
Pay the Fee
It costs 10,000 Zeny—a fair price for a trip across the sea.
Arrive in Louyang
You’ll step into a highland city painted with Eastern charm. Red tiles, carved dragons, and martial arts masters watching your every move.
